The TCDC wants more input from locals to contribute their views on adaption options to protect the Coromandel Peninsula's coastline.

Whangamata Harbour Care has joined up with DOC to trap predators along our peninsula shoreline, without people power, DOC involved volunteers to tackle steep terrain, rocky outcrops and thick bush.

Get ready at Waitangi Weekend for the Arts Collective Challenge and the Big Arts Day Out - an interesting theme this year 'Looking Back, Looking Forward'. Held at the Memorial Hall, come and enjoy a feast of art.

A must read with Tairua based film maker, Mike Bhana of 'Wild Film'. His views on sustainability at sea makes a fascinating read.
